Christmas Savings for Christmas Puppies!

Happy Monday, everyone! Well, here we are, right in the peak of the holiday season. I'm sure that you are all feeling all of the pressure that I am! Balancing an already busy and hectic schedule on top of extra cooking, cleaning, finding that perfect gift for everyone on your Christmas list, preparing your home for company, and then of course being a gracious host to all of that company. It's a lot! It can be super stressful. Still, this is my favorite time of year. The holidays are very much about giving-giving presents, giving back, giving your time, and yourself. That's the stuff that really brings on that warm and fuzzy feeling that makes me love this time of year so much! A lot of you parents may be taking this Christmas as an opportunity to finally get your kids that pup they've been begging for for years! Obviously, I love dogs. I also believe that they can be a wonderful addition to most families. Dogs can often bring out the best in you, your kids, and your entire family. They teach your children all about responsibility and being commited to something that depends on them for food, water, walks, play, and overall survival! Dogs are also the best exhibitionists i know of to show what it means to have a best friend that loves you unconditionally, in spite of all of your short-comings. Of course, this is best case scenario.

Sometimes, however, puppies can wind up being treated much like other Christmas presents-enjoyed for a while, and then being forgotten. Or worse-turning into a burden because of lack of training and/or increasing frequency of less than desirable behavior. As a matter of fact, you may be surprised to know how many shelter dogs were once wrapped in a beautiful red bow sitting under the Christmas tree. Don't let it happen to you and your pup! Throughout the month of December, On Cue Training and Kennels is offering $10 off/session for group Puppy Kindergarten classes! That means just $25/class for you and your pup! Classes will be starting on January 20th and will run until the last class on February 24th. The last day for sign up will be January 13th. However, the discount will only be for those who sign up in the month of December.
